About us
RSM Student Representation (SR) was founded in 1985 with a clear mission: to gather student feedback and improve the quality of education. At the time, this initiative was exclusive to the Dutch "Bedrijfskunde" (BA) program, operating under the name Studentenvertegenwoordiging (SV).
With the launch of the International Business Administration (IBA) program, a parallel student representation initiative emerged. In 2008, these two organizations merged under the English name Student Representation (SR), forming the organization we know today—dedicated to ensuring student voices are heard in both programs.

Our Mission
While advocating for academic quality remains our core mission, SR has grown into so much more. We are a trusted point of contact for students—whether you need support, guidance, or someone to stand up for your rights. If you ever feel unheard, we are here to listen.
With the introduction of Student Support in the 2024/25 academic year, we are strengthening this role, ensuring every student has a place to turn. Meanwhile, our Marketing and Events teams continue to foster a sense of community within SR and across cohorts, making student life more engaging and connected.
At SR, we are committed to making your university experience the best it can be by supporting you through challenges, creating a welcoming environment, and working tirelessly to enhance the quality of your education.
